I just got back from the STC conference. WOW!
It was an action-packed four days of fun and intense learning!! I had a chance to meet with lots of people. It was so great to meet other people that belong to the UUX SIG!! You guys are so cool!
I decided to start this blog so we could have a place online where we could have a community and plenty of interaction. So speak out. Let me know what you thought about the conference.
Here's a video I took of the mayor's speech. Sorry if the video isn't so good. I'm new to all of this stuff. I wanted to capture the opening ceremony for those of you who couldn't come or who missed it. A lot of people I talked to didn't understand the schedules and missed some of these highlights. For some reason, we are a community of Technical Communicators, but we still need to work on the communication part of our skills.
